mcc MURAL AND DISPLAY CASE
During my last semester of college, we were challenged with creating a new display case and mural design for the Metropolitan Community College music department. Because of the number of students in our class, the head of the department was to choose one main design for these two pieces. I am honored to have had my pieces chosen and will be able to watch the process of installment.

Because the Penn Valley Music department is heavily influenced by Jazz, the head of the music department emphasized the importance of the hallway feeling, “jazzy”. Because of this, I wanted to imitate the feeling of my ‘Jazz in the Valley’ poster and keep that feel going though the music department. I adhered to MCC’s brand guidelines and used their primary colors as well as some add-ins of a gold and purple to keep the designs timeless and classy, yet jazzy and fun.
